“La costruzione del Ninfeo: la nascita di un sogno” - Historical Re-enactment
Visits to the Nymphaeum with water games, stories and characters in historical costume.
A journey through time to discover the birth of the Nymphaeum at Villa Litta, a place of coolness and wonder that has fascinated writers, artists and poets over the centuries. The protagonists of this journey through history will be the people who conceived it: the patron, Count Pirro I Visconti Borromeo, and the workers who made its realisation possible, such as the artist Camillo Procaccini, the architect Martino Bassi, the engineer Agostino Ramelli and many others. In fact, the Court is in ferment, for the completion of work on the great 'giardino di Leinate', in view of the celebration for its inauguration.
OPENING HOURS
Saturday 9 September from 17.00 to 22.00 Departure every 10 minutes
Sunday 10 September from 15.00 to 21.00 Departure every 10 minutes
In collaboration with: the students of Desirèe Motta's Music Dance and Mimic Art dance school and Sartoria Teatrale Bianchi.
The event is confirmed even in case of bad weather.
